Brief

The Entertainment Identifier Registry is one of Rightsline’s acquired services. Users can log in with their corporate email address and register any new entertainment products they have.

The access system is based on the company domain. After domain registration, anyone with an email address at that company can log in.

  • Remove the bad user feeling of a long form.
  • Create an impressive and completely new layout.
  • Feel free to have something that is not standard.
  • Impress the users.

Challenges

To create something entirely new is always a challenge. Finding a working new solution to a very standard subject like forms is also a critical task.

But it is exciting!

The general concept

The service has two main areas: the administration platform and the main service of entertainment registration.

To help clearly see where the user is currently located, inverse layouts will help a lot.

New particulars

To move away from the standards, the first thing is to change the layout and behaviour of the input fields.

Add the label to the empty fields in the place of the content and animate them under the input area when the user types in data. Also, having a border around the input fields is not a must. That comes from offline, paper forms and is still in place on most online forms.

Build them together

Combine all the ideas on a screen. Build patterns to reuse and keep the separation between the two areas with variations of the patterns. So, create a basic design system.
