We, designers, are not our users. We cannot represent our users even with the best and most profound empathy. We can only guess.
That is why it is essential to involve users in the design. Nobody knows their needs, thinking, pain points, and goals better than they do. Ask, listen, learn, adapt, solve and test. And if it could be better, do it again.
